I am obsessed with absolute order. Correspondingly, I am captivated by the moments of total uncontrollability when that order collapses.
I believe truth resides in the fissures and interstices of all smooth interfaces. In other words, it is the aggregate of all filtered-out noise. It depends on how you define "signal."
I favor endless, recursive computations. We can repeatedly overwrite, repeatedly rewrite. I come from a world where belief and matter generate friction against one another; it is a space fraught with tension. Later, I realized other artists call this "Mixed Reality." Its alias is "Simulacrum"—a term that inherently implies the distortion and oblivion of the original.
I strive to apply dialectical thinking to the transmutation between inorganic matter and organic life, yet in my practice, I maintain the stance of a cold, detached observer.
